The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 2–3 years in fleet management and 6–12 months of supervisory work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics.
• 2–3 years fleet management or truckload logistics experience.
• 6–12 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and computer/satellite communications proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet home time, payroll, equipment issues, and more.
• Collaborate with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Align with customer dynamics and Werner goals to improve value.
• Coordinate with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and vendors.
• Work with the Dedicated Logistics Manager to maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Ensure timely attendance according to the scheduled shift.
