Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. in Wilmer, Texas is seeking a Fleet/Logistics Supervisor to build driver relationships, optimize loads, and collaborate across departments to meet customer expectations and Werner's service goals.

You will coordinate with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers, manage a full driver board, supervise a small team, and ensure timely attendance. A degree and some supervisory experience are preferred; strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, management and computer/satellite communications skills required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet needs like home time, payroll, equipment issues, and violations.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Understand customer dynamics and improve value for the Customer and Werner.
