Werner Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Logistics/Operations professional to build and maintain strong driver relationships while coordinating loads across multiple departments to meet service goals.

The role emphasizes proactive communication and problem-solving within a fast-paced truckload environment. You will work closely with dedicated managers to optimize driver assignments, ensure on-time performance, and interface with billing, safety, payroll, and maintenance teams to sustain a full

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred or 2–3 years fleet management/transportation experience in truckload.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, proven management ability, and skill operating a computer terminal & satellite communications system required.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain driver relationships through understanding and meeting driver needs across home time, payroll, equipment issues, and more using our systems and communications.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads based on origin, destination, freight type, miles, stops, and driver needs.
• Align with customer dynamics, service expectations, goals, and Werner initiatives to improve value for the Customer and Werner.
• Interface with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and external vendors.
• Collaborate with Dedicated Logistics Manager and/or Operations Manager to maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Maintain timely attendance per shift as determined by supervision.
