Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics
• Two to three years of fleet management or transportation experience in truckload industry preferred
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to operate a computer terminal and satellite communications system

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet needs like home time, payroll, utility, and equipment issues.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize loads based on origin, destination, freight type, miles, and stops.
• Understand and adhere to customer dynamics, service expectations, goals, and initiatives.
• Interface with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and vendors.
• Work with Managers to fill and maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Timely and regular attendance as scheduled by supervision
