Werner Enterprises, Inc. seeks an experienced logistics professional to manage driver relationships and optimize loads in a dynamic fleet environment in Texas.

You will collaborate with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers and multiple departments to maintain a full driver board and meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics and 2–3 years in fleet management with 6–12 months supervisory experience, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• 2–3 years of fleet management or transportation experience in truckload preferred.
• 6–12 months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, management, and computer/satellite communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships, addressing home time, payroll, equipment issues, and other needs.
• Partner with Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads based on origin, freight type, miles, and stops.
• Align with customer dynamics and Werner goals to improve value for the customer and Werner.
• Coordinate with billing, safety, payroll, maintenance, and external vendors.
• Work with Managers to maintain a full board of drivers and ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Maintain timely attendance according to the scheduled shift.
