Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina seeks a Supervisor of Patient Transport to lead the transport team, coordinate requests for patient movement, wheelchairs, stretchers and equipment, and maintain transport equipment inventory.

You will monitor the Transport Command Center, ensure safety, train staff, generate performance reports, and support nursing to deliver safe patient care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or 2-year college certificate or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience in patient transportation services in a hospital or nursing home setting required.
• 1 year supervisor duties preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
• CPR for Healthcare Provider, Nonviolent Crises Intervention (NCI) training and Restraints, Seclusion and Safety devices.
• Ability to identify, understand, and regulate flow meter on E-Cylinder.

Mansioni

• Supervise Lead Transporters and Transporters to verify efficiency and effectiveness in supported areas.
• Provide statistical reports to department director regarding key performance indicators and transporter performance.
• Verify competency of new transporters and use Teletracking Transport Tracking System effectively.
• Supervise transport work activities in the transport of patients with appropriate devices safely and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate correct techniques in handling patient tubes, IVs, and all other patient equipment.
