Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Patient Transporter in the Patient Transportation department to accurately and efficiently move patients, wheelchairs, stretchers and related equipment between nursing units and ancillary departments.
You will use transport devices safely, monitor patients for changes, assist with tubes and devices, apply proper body mechanics, and report issues to staff promptly.

Accurately and efficiently transport patients, wheelchairs, stretchers and traction equipment to and from the nursing units and ancillary departments. Use transport equipment correctly ensuring safety measures are adhered to. Cleans, repairs and maintains equipment for operability. Support the philosophy of nursing to provide better patient care.
