Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking a Training Manager for the Patient Transportation department in Fayetteville, NC. The role designs strategic training plans, implements programs and policies, and researches new techniques to improve national certification and patient transport training.

The position identifies current and future training needs, develops tailored methods, and deploys diverse training approaches to support patient transport functions across the hospital system.

Competenze

• Associate's degree in business, healthcare or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in Support Services; 2 years hospital experience.
• Must have CPR for Healthcare Provider and NCI training; knowledge of restraints, seclusion and safety devices.

Mansioni

• Develop and review training plans with department director.
• Establish patient transportation training objectives and strategic plans.
• Interpret productivity reports and Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Surveys.
• Interpret satisfaction domain reports and establish improvements.
• Serve as department preceptor and orient staff to the department.
• Train staff and perform analysis to support patient flow and transporter performance.
• Observe system-wide support needs to ensure smooth patient transport for all patients.
• Train staff in discharge/transfer and maneuvering of patients including post mortem transport.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
