Job summary

Walmart in Mount Sterling, KY is seeking a Store Manager to lead and develop store teams, teach training, and actively listen to associates to drive store operations. You will support the One Best Way service model and focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

You will manage P&L, budgeting, and expenses, implement action plans to improve performance, and hire and mentor hourly staff. A culture of belonging and integrity is emphasized.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates, guiding store operations and implementing business solutions.
• Drive store financial performance by reviewing PL, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses to meet sales and profit goals.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates including hiring, training, mentoring and setting clear expectations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and promote a culture of belonging and integrity while delivering excellent customer service.
