Job summary

Walmart in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Store Leader to guide and develop teams across store operations. You will teach training, listen to associates, provide feedback, and drive daily store performance while upholding Walmart's customer service standards.

You will manage budgeting, merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and shrink control, while supporting community outreach and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment for all associates.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback.
• Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards following the One Best Way (OBW) service model and leading customer service initiatives.
• Drives the financial performance and sales by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses in the designated area.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, setting clear expectations and promoting a sense of belonging.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and supports Open Door Policy and ethics in everyday operations.
