Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert to support the General Merchandise team on the sales floor. You will sort, stock, and organize merchandise, ensuring product availability and pricing accuracy while safely operating equipment.

You will engage guests, assist with back-up cashier duties, and help with order pickup and Drive Up services. The role requires flexibility for nights and weekends and a strong commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate scanners and other technology as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and following multi-step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items per laws and regs.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely at all times and report hazards.
• Support guest services like back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive up while complying with laws.
