Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise with sorting, stocking, and ensuring accurate pricing and signage on the sales floor. You will help guests, assist with back-up cashier duties, and maintain product availability in GM categories in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes safe handling, compliance with store policies, and teamwork. Training will cover customer service fundamentals, in-store procedures, and safety standards to deliver a great guest

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely and report hazards; comply with safety policies and training.
