Job summary

Target is hiring for an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise operations on the sales floor. You will ensure product is in stock, accurately priced, and signed while assisting guests and team members with a friendly, helpful attitude.

You will handle sorting, stocking, and inventory tasks, operate equipment, and assist with back-up cashier duties as needed. A flexible schedule and strong safety awareness are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other tech.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of staying focused in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with laws.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely and follow safety policies and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive up with compliance.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping with their needs.
• Engage with guests to solve specific needs and thank them for shopping Target.
• All other duties based on business needs
