Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert to support GM and food sales floors with efficient sorting, stocking and merchandising. You will engage guests, operate equipment, and ensure accurate replenishment while maintaining safety and compliance.

This role emphasizes guest-first service and teamwork in a fast-moving store environment. The position requires 18+ years of age, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or with the team to resolve guest needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and use scanners and technology as directed.
• Work independently and with a team to complete daily tasks.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and professionally.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Remain focused and composed while managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
