Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Expert to support GM categories through efficient sorting, stocking, and customer service on the sales floor. You will help maintain product availability, operate equipment, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced, physical role.

Ideal candidates are 18+, friendly, team players, flexible with hours, able to use scanners, and capable of solving guest questions quickly while delivering a welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Able to use handheld scanners and operate multiple devices.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Stay focused in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs
