Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Stocker for the Grocery department. This hourly role supports overnight stock tasks to keep shelves full, organized, and ready for customers each morning.

You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products, and help keep backroom areas orderly. The job requires no prior experience; we provide training. You’ll work with a team of store colleagues, follow directions from the Store Director and Managers, and adhere to Hy-Vee dress code and safety policies.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required; training provided.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to communicate with customers and teammates clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and helping them find items.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Monitor mis-picks, stockouts, and report issues to the team.
• Tag shelves and manage backroom stock.
• Work with overnight team to ensure a smooth operation.
