Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stocker to join the Grocery team. This hourly role supports overnight operations by unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and rotating products to ensure freshness for morning shoppers.

No prior experience is required, and training is provided. Candidates should be comfortable with lifting and standing for extended periods and be available for overnight hours.

Qualifications

• You will be trained and supported to perform duties.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions with confidence.
• Basic math including fractions, decimals, and percentages is required.
• Clear communication with customers and teammates is essential.
• Maintain organization and pace during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find what they need.
• Assist customers with locating products and report feedback to the team.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product for freshness.
• Monitor mis-picks, outs, and wrong deliveries and report issues.
• Organize stock efficiently and restock damaged items.
• Tag shelves and coordinate with the scanning system.
• Work with teammates for a smooth overnight operation.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene, and policies.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed.
