Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Stocker to keep shelves full, organized, and ready for customers each morning. You will unload trucks, rotate product, and maintain backroom organization to support a smooth overnight operation.

The role emphasizes teamwork, physical activity, and attention to detail, with training provided for those new to the role. Dress code and safety policies apply.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with confidence.
• Use basic math skills including fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates in a friendly, helpful way.
• Stay organized and keep pace of a busy overnight shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; up to six months of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find what they need.
• Assist customers with locating products and items on shelves.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product and tag shelves.
• Monitor for mis-picks, stockouts, and report issues to the team.
• Organize stock for efficiency and restock damaged items.
• Tag overstock in back room and manage restock drawers.
• Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator.
