Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Staffing Advisor for the Fairview Midway Campus to manage daily staffing coverage using grids aligned with policy, budget, and plan.

You will produce 4-week schedules, approve time-off, monitor staffing levels, and work with nurses and managers to ensure safe care and accurate Kronos timekeeping. Onsite night shifts with every-other weekend apply.

Responsibilities

• Produces and maintains 4-week employee schedules per policy and guidelines.
• Approves time-off requests, shift exchanges, and holiday schedules with accurate data entry.
• Reviews staffing levels proactively and fills vacant shifts based on demand and budget.
• Coordinates with Charge Nurses and Nursing Managers to ensure appropriate skill mix for patient care.
• Provides responsive service to staff calling the staffing office.
• Reviews and reconciles timekeeping records in Kronos and scheduling systems.
• Tracks attendance and staffing data for reporting and quality improvement.
