Job summary

Regions Hospital, part of HealthPartners, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support the Float Pool. The role focuses on staffing coverage, absenteeism, and scheduling for inpatient units, clinics, and specialty centers.

You will use Microsoft Excel, TEAMS, Outlook and MyTime to coordinate coverage, communicate with nursing and leadership, and ensure staffing ratios meet unit needs. This is a 0.8 FTE evening shift with every other weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Three years of clerical experience.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
• Organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Clear communication with management, staff and ancillary personnel.
• Knowledge of office procedures and data recording.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and communicate coverage for current and upcoming shifts.
• Serve as point of contact for absenteeism and record calls.
• Notify supervisors and units of absenteeism and secure replacements.
• Perform related duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook and MyTime in daily work.
