Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Operations Center Supervisor to lead daily SOC operations, manage analysts, and ensure quick, accurate incident response at client sites in the Boston area.

The role requires a strong background in security systems, training, and collaboration with law enforcement, with a Thursday–Saturday night shift schedule in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field).
• 2–4 years in a SOC, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proficient in Avigilon Control Center (ACC) and other security/video systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making under pressure.
• Experience in report writing, investigation management, and coordinating with external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor SOC Analysts to ensure effective performance and adherence to procedures.
• Oversee monitoring of Avigilon and related security systems across client sites.
• Ensure incidents, alarms, and emergencies are responded to promptly and documented.
• Conduct quality control checks on incident reports, shift summaries, and communications.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, managers, and law enforcement during critical incidents.
• Develop, review, and update SOC post orders, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure proper shift coverage, scheduling, and timely dissemination of information between shifts.
• Assist in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and ongoing professional development of SOC staff.
• Provide leadership during emergencies and maintain command presence in high-stress situations.
