Zusammenfassung

St. Charles Youth & Family Services is seeking a Lead Youth Development Specialist for the 3rd shift to support a therapeutic 24-hour care environment. You will coach staff, assist with program planning, and help youth develop educational and life skills within a caring team.

You will work with youth on school-day and non-school days, providing group and individual support, while ensuring safe, positive, and structured activities in collaboration with school staff and clinical teams.

Qualifikationen

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with At Risk Youth.
• Ability to attend initial and ongoing training.
• Ability to work on other living units as needed.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills desirable.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to meet Agency driving standards and provide a valid Wisconsin driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Assist with the training and coaching of Youth Development Specialist staff.
• Collaborate with Program Manager to update and train on departmental processes or procedures.
• Work one-on-one with clients as needed.
• Provide instructional and behavioral support to the clients.
• Monitor school attendance and provide instruction in the absence of a teacher, if needed.
• Provide oversight and support to clients and families in community-based activities.
