Job summary

Wisconsin Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Youth Treatment Specialist for the 3rd shift at the Matz Center Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility in Watertown, WI.

This role provides direct care, supervision, and leadership to youth aged 8–17 during a mental health crisis, ensuring safety and adherence to program protocols. You will train staff, model therapeutic engagement, and implement treatment models while coordinating with the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or human services and at least 1 year of mental health services experience with youth 8–17.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work full-time third shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model and supervise youth during 3rd shift.
• Coach and support staff, ensure shift protocols and bedroom checks are followed.
• Oversee trauma-informed care practices including DBT, motivational interviewing, and youth-centered approaches.
• Complete documentation and ensure safety protocols including suicide prevention are followed.
• Assist with training, scheduling, and coordinating coverage as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow DHS rules and agency policies.
