Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Brenham, TX is seeking a Welder for the night shift to set up and assemble products via GMAW welding. You will read drawings, position parts with a jib crane, and weld pole assemblies.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English.
• Ability to use common manufacturing math.
• 6 months welding experience or technical welding program.
• Must pass GMAW test and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Weld pole shafts using GMAW to assemble pole assemblies.
• Position shafts using a jib crane and fixtures.
• Read drawings to gather parts and assemble components.
• Operate plasma torch for cutting steel and drill for holes.
• Maintain safety and quality during production.
