Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Operator to control and monitor the Solar Technologies Wastewater facility in Lena, Wisconsin. The role covers operating pumps and valves, testing samples, and maintaining records to ensure permitted discharge quality.

You will work primarily night shifts, support maintenance tasks, and coordinate with Veolia and Solar Technologies management to optimize treatment methods. Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma, familiarity with lab data, and a willingness to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Wastewater entry-level licensing or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full operational coverage of the Solar Technologies Wastewater facility on 12-hour night shifts.
• Operate motors, pumps, and valves to regulate water flow; collect and test wastewater samples.
• Analyze lab data to identify potential treatment issues and implement process changes to prevent non-compliance; maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with other operators, Solar Technologies, and Veolia management to maintain wastewater treatment equipment and determine optimal treatment methods.
• Complete all preventative maintenance; assist with minor maintenance projects including chemical pump repair, valve replacement, and piping installation.
• Compile data for daily, weekly, or monthly operating reports to Veolia and Solar Technologies management; may compile data for EPA or state regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with Veolia purchasing department to order supplies and with Solar Technologies for third-party maintenance support.
• Other duties as assigned.
