Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Operator to control the Solar Technologies facility in Lena, Wisconsin. You will monitor and adjust treatment processes, collect samples, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities include maintenance, data recording, and coordination with Veolia and Solar Technologies teams to optimize operations. This role requires willingness to work 12‑hour night shifts and adapt to weather‑exposed conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Wastewater entry‑level licensing or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full operational coverage of the Solar Technologies Wastewater facility during scheduled shifts.
• Operate pumps, motors, and valves to regulate water flow and collect/test samples.
• Analyze lab data to identify treatment issues and adjust processes to prevent non‑compliance.
• Coordinate with other operators, Solar Technologies, and Veolia management for optimal treatment methods.
• Complete preventive maintenance and assist with minor repairs.
• Compile data for daily/weekly/monthly reports and assist with EPA/state filings.
