Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator for Lena, WI, to control systems and maintain equipment at the Solar Technologies Wastewater facility. The role focuses on purifying water for discharge and ensuring regulatory compliance across 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities include monitoring pumps and valves, testing samples, analyzing lab data, and coordinating with Veolia and Solar Technologies for optimized treatment methods. Requires a high school diploma; licensing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Wastewater entry-level licensing or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of the Solar Technologies Wastewater facility across all scheduled shifts (primarily 12-hour night shifts).
• Operate motors, pumps and valves to regulate water flow and test wastewater samples.
• Analyze lab data to identify treatment issues and adjust processes to prevent non-compliance with proper record-keeping.
• Coordinate with other operators, Veolia management and Solar Technologies to maintain equipment and determine optimal treatment methods.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs including pump, valve, and piping work.
• Prepare data for daily/weekly/monthly operating reports for Veolia and Solar Technologies; may assist for EPA/state regulators.
