Job summary

Performance Food Group in Rock Island, IL is seeking a warehouse associate to pick cases and other items from multi-level racks, load pallets with an electric pallet jack, and prepare orders for shipment. You will follow safety procedures and ensure quality standards while supporting fast, accurate order fulfillment.

The role requires lifting up to 60-100 lbs, working in dry/cooler/freezer environments, and willingness to obtain EPJ certification during training.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing 10-35 lbs regularly and up to 60-100 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check and become EPJ certified within training period.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and other containers of food and non-foods to fill orders.
• Operate pallet jack/forklift and place pallets for shipment.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock staging area and wrap as needed.
• Perform safety checks and maintain equipment and paperwork as required.
