Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Rock Island, IL is hiring a warehouse associate to select cases and other containers from multi-level racks, load pallets, and prepare orders for shipment with an electric pallet jack/forklift. You will wrap, label, and stage products while following safety standards to maintain quality and efficiency.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and timely delivery, with competitive pay and benefits starting Day 1, including health, 401(k) matching, PTO, and education

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly.
• Ability to lift up to 60–100 lbs depending on location.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• EPJ certification required.
• Complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and ensure PPE is worn.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location/company guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and locate products on racks per order sheets.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock staging; shrink-wrap if needed.
• Complete paperwork and end-of-shift equipment checks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
