Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse picker to select cases and containers from multi-level racks for customer orders. Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks, preparing pallets for shipment, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Shifts run 5:00 PM until finished, four nights per week (Sunday–Friday, no Saturdays). Training starts at $21.00 per hour with a $23.55 per hour average after training, with benefits starting Day 1 and growth opportunities within a supportive

Qualifications

• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime as required.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along racks to locate products as per orders.
• Manually place stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock and wrap pallets as needed.
• Replace used batteries and seal equipment at end of shift; complete paperwork.
