Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse associate to select cases and containers from multi‑level warehouse racks, loading and staging orders for shipment with pallet jacks and forklifts. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and timely fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires handling 10–35 lb items regularly and up to 60–100 lbs, working in dry/cool/freezer zones, and completing training including EPJ certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing 10-35 lbs. regularly and up to approximately 60-100 lbs. (location dependent)
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer)
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new‑hire training period
• Ability to complete required training independently

Responsibilities

• Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Review work schedule, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
• Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required.
• Transport completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area; may shrink-wrap pallet for staging.
• Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
