Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations at our Louisville store.

You will schedule warehouse personnel, oversee shipping and receiving, and ensure safe, efficient distribution aligned with store needs. The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping/receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control)
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and staging of products
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with CEM/Operations Manager
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment and adherence to OSHA and internal SOPs
• Oversee warehouse safety programs and training compliance
• Handle employee inquiries and disciplinary processes as needed
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations
• Complete required management activity reports
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
• Oversee inventory rotation and proper storage
