Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager (6p–6a) in Dallas to lead day-to-day site operations, supervise warehousing, inbound/outbound planning, and staff development while ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets are met.

The role requires experience in logistics, strong leadership, and the ability to manage client SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced facility. Overtime and weekend coverage may apply; base pay details are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Meets all client specified KPI’s and complies with Quality system requirements.
• Delivers results by leveraging the skills of the right people at the right time.
• Maintains high degree of motivation in team members to retain focus of providing highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Plans the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices, and instructions from customers.
• Supervises warehouse operations supervisors & support staff.
