DSV – Global transport and logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 6PM–6AM Fri, Sat, Sun shift in Dallas. You will oversee daily freight handling operations, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods, coordinating with customers and carriers, and driving safety and performance metrics.

The role emphasizes leadership, process optimization, documentation accuracy, and inventory oversight, with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field. Certifications in freight operations management are advantageous.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in freight operations or logistics roles, with supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of freight handlers and operational staff.
• Coordinate loading, unloading, and handling of freight shipments.
• Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and packaging of goods in compliance with regulations.
• Plan and prioritize freight operations to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Monitor workflow and adjust resources to optimize efficiency.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, and stakeholders to coordinate freight movements.
