Job summary

US1141 Buckhead Meat of Houston, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, loading and shipping to ensure continuity and efficiency for customers and suppliers.

The role requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a DC, familiarity with RF devices, OSHA knowledge and a commitment to safety and quality. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 3-5 years equivalent education/work experience in a distribution center.
• 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a re-distribution/distribution center.
• Experience with handheld radio frequency (RF) unit.
• Powered industrial truck certification required within 2 weeks of hire.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily activities and performance of warehouse workers to ensure compliance with procedures, quality, and safety.
• Ensure quality performance through staffing, communication and training.
• Manage employee performance through motivation, delegation and mentoring.
• Take corrective action timely following company policy.
• Conduct regular meetings to communicate changes and address concerns.
