Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy, safety and efficiency across receiving, putaway, picking, loading and shipping.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a distribution center, familiarity with RF devices, and knowledge of OSHA regulations. Strong leadership and communication are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3–5 years distribution center education/work experience.
• 3–5 years warehouse supervisory experience in a redistribution/distribution center.
• Experience with handheld RF units and safety/compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory controls and SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities and staff performance.
• Ensure safety, quality, and policy compliance through effective staffing and training.
• Conduct staff evaluations, coaching and documentation; implement corrective actions.
• Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate changes, and drive employee engagement.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs and downtime.
• Maintain safety, productivity and housekeeping standards; generate reports as needed.
