Job summary

US1072 Buckhead Meat Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, putaway, picking, loading and shipping while maintaining safety and productivity.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a distribution center, familiarity with RF handheld devices, and a live OSHA knowledge. Bachelor’s degree preferred; PIT certification required within two weeks of hire. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years equivalent education/work experience in a distribution center.
• 3–5 years warehouse supervisory experience in a redistribution/distribution center.
• Experience with handheld RF unit.
• Powered industrial truck certification required within first 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities to ensure quality, safety and adherence to procedures.
• Ensure staffing, training, and performance management to maintain productivity.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate policy changes and address staff concerns.
• Participate in staff selection, evaluations, and corrective actions as necessary.
• Review warehouse procedures and recommend changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory policies.
