Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, picking, packing and shipping. You will lead a team, enforce safety and quality standards and optimize processes to improve efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory warehouse experience, OSHA familiarity, and certification for powered industrial trucks. Proficiency with RF devices and WMS systems is a plus; MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3–5 years equivalent education/work experience in a distribution center.
3–5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a redistribution/distribution center.
Powered industrial truck certification is required after training.

Responsibilities

Direct, coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities to ensure quality, safety and adherence to procedures.
Lead staffing, training, performance management and employee development.
Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs and safety incidents.
Maintain reports and logs (production, shift end walk-through, safety talks).
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
