Job summary

Floor & Decor in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations, supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and manage the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1-3 years supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication and math skills, proficiency with Windows, and willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons. Pay ranges from $18.25 to $25.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control.
• Maintain warehouse safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and communicate repairs.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve efficiency.
• Handle inquiries and solve problems; prepare activity reports.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, and packing slips.
