Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor in Portland, OR to direct warehouse operations and supervise specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. You will manage nightly freight schedules aligned with customer demand and inventory control.

Responsibilities include daily staff scheduling, driving safe practices, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring accurate records. A 1–3 year supervisory background and strong teamwork are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse/distribution
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain relationships with other departments
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills; able to work in Windows-based systems
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping/receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, inventory control
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs; ensure safe, efficient operations
• Oversee warehouse safety programs in line with OSHA and local regulations
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations
• Prepare activity reports for management
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP
• Oversee product staging for counting/inspection
• Ensure proper storage to conserve space and safety
• Rotate inventories as needed
• Perform other duties as directed by management
