Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations, supervise warehouse staff, and manage the daily freight schedule in store environments.

You will coordinate shipping/receiving, ensure safety programs, and maintain equipment while collaborating with other departments. The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in warehousing, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with Windows-based systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment).
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving in-store operations.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and report repairs.
• Ensure warehouse safety programs and compliant procedures for all associates.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and support problem resolution.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient warehouse operations.
• Complete activity reports for management and monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
