Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Garland, TX is seeking a Warehouse Lead to determine daily workload, set priorities and direct the team to meet daily objectives while maintaining excellent service to our Distribution Centers, customers, and suppliers.

You will collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor, supervise unloading, receiving, picking, and put-away activities, ensure safety compliance, train staff, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years warehouse experience with import/export receiving and shipping.
• Must be familiar with OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisors to determine the daily, weekly, and monthly workload.
• Direct team of employees and provide leadership and assistance with the daily operations to meet all daily objectives.
• Assist employees with exceptions and problem resolution.
• Unloading and loading of shipments.
• Put away and replenishment.
• Receiving.
• Selection of products.
• Item demand/count checks.
• Communicate any issues or suggestions to Supervisor.
• Train and assess new employees and re-train as necessary.
• Ensure all employees are performing duties accurately and efficiently
• Assist management with safety initiatives
• Assist management with other duties as needed
