Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN or related field preferred.
• Licensed RN in New York State.
• 2-3 years clinical nursing with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads nursing practice using the Professional Practice Model and care delivery model.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR) and models expected behaviors.
• Ensure integration of PHR into clinical activities to enhance Relationship Centered Care.
• Validate staff rounds hourly on all patients by direct observation and patient feedback.
• Assess staff competency in PHR and provide timely feedback.
• Perform daily rounds when Nurse Manager is away and as assigned.
• Communicate patient experience and staff engagement data to leadership to drive action plans.
• Collaborate with physician dyad and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Address patient concerns promptly and provide service recovery as needed.
• Model caring, respect, compassion, empathy and active listening.
