Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead nursing teams and ensure high-quality care on the night shift. This role includes coordinating staffing, supervising staff, and ensuring adherence to policies and patient safety standards.

The position requires a BSN, 5 years RN experience with leadership, and current certifications (ACLS/BLS/PALS) with NIH Stroke Scale. A $10K sign-on bonus is offered and weekly hours total 36.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN required, Masters preferred.
• Five years RN experience including two years in a leadership role.
• AHA ACLS-Adv Cardiac Life Support, AHA BLS Healthcare Provider, AHA PALS or must obtain within 6 months; NIH Stroke Scale Certification and 8 hours Stroke CNE annually.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in prioritizing clinical and administrative tasks.
• Coordinate staffing and shifts with nurse managers.
• Respond to emergencies and codes per CH policies.
• Monitor nursing care quality and address patient concerns.
• Provide staff counseling and address grievances per policy.
• Collaborate with leadership to allocate resources.
• Perform other duties as needed.
