Job summary

The Rane Center seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Vascular Thoracic unit on the night shift. This Registered Nurse will serve as a clinical leader, overseeing quality patient care and supporting the Nurse Manager in daily operations.

Responsibilities include leading nursing practice, ensuring effective hourly rounding, and collaborating with the care team to deliver safe, patient-centered care. Requires NYS RN license and nursing leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's in nursing or health-related field preferred.
• 2-3 years clinical nursing experience with some Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in New York State; ACLS, BLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads nursing practice under the Professional Practice Model and Care Delivery Model for patient experience.
• Demonstrates proficiency in and models Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR).
• Ensures integration of PHR into clinical activities to enhance Relationship Centered Care.
• Assists in validating staff rounds and providing feedback.
• Oversees patient care delivery and responds to patient concerns; escalates as needed.
