Qualifications

• New graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care incorporating Relationship Centered Care and nursing process.
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
• Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing.
• Role model Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care actions.
• Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned.
• Document nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement initiatives.
