Job summary

Reyes Family of Businesses is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to manage daily operations, ensuring on-time dispatches and controlling labor costs while safeguarding product integrity.

You will develop the daily operating plan, schedule drivers, and mentor staff. You may lead quality and safety initiatives and collaborate with HR to maintain appropriate staffing levels throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience
• High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage
• Maintain a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully
• Develop the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver schedules to meet customer delivery needs and solve problems to maximize customer satisfaction
• Provide development to supervisory and driver staff and potentially lead quality and safety committees
• Partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels year-round to maximize employee involvement
• Other duties as assigned
