Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee drivers, training, and on-time deliveries on a Sunday–Thursday night shift. You will work with the Operations team, monitor DOT logs, and ensure compliance with DOT and company policies while maintaining safe, efficient routing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years transportation supervisory experience with knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience in operation of computerized fleet management systems.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrable experience across functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates to include staffing, training, coaching and performance management.
• Assists in scheduling deliveries and pickups; rides with drivers for training/evaluation.
• Assists Transport/Operations Manager with payroll, logs, expense reports, and DOT/OpCo compliance; uses fleet management software.
• Ensures drivers use safe practices and monitor vehicle safety, ramps, belts, and lifting procedures.
• Coordinates tracking of driver information such as licenses, tickets, accidents and safety data.
• Ensures completion of delivery and driver paperwork including invoices, DVIRs, logs, and reports.
• Maintains trucks and trailers via post-trip inspections; coordinates maintenance.
• Works to minimize operating expenses and optimize routing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
