Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead day-to-day transportation operations and ensure on-time delivery of goods. You will supervise drivers, monitor DOT compliance, and optimize fleet performance to drive efficiency.

You’ll guide a team responsible for safety, accuracy in paperwork, and cost-effective routing. The ideal candidate brings transportation logistics knowledge, strong leadership, and proficiency with fleet management software.

Qualifications

• Lead and develop a transportation team with strong communication.
• Demonstrate leadership to manage drivers and operations.
• Apply analytical skills to optimize routes and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff including scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
• Assist in administrative tasks like payroll, logs, and compliance.
• Ensure DOT compliance, vehicle safety, and proper use of safety equipment.
• Track driver licenses, incidents, and safety data for risk management.
• Complete delivery and driver paperwork accurately (invoices, DVIR, logs).
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers.
• Work with managers to minimize costs and optimize routes.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
