Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff and ensure customer requirements are met at a single location in Flat Rock, MI. You will supervise driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and customer service operations, while managing performance and safety.

The role requires strong leadership, schedule coordination for night shifts (Sun-Wed, 6:00 pm–6:00 am), and the ability to drive continuous improvement within processes and teams. Equal opportunity employer.

• Able to communicate clearly with drivers, teammates, and customers; proactive and solution oriented.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and lead change; comfortable with coaching and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation controls.
• Conduct team meetings and provide guidance to hourly associates.
• Evaluate work methods and implement changes to improve dispatch productivity.
• Provide coverage for operational duties during time-off and absences.
• Maintain site operating systems knowledge to ensure compliance and correct issue resolution.
